Sports Sports Premium Grant
The Government have given all schools across the country additional funding in the form of Sports Premium. This is to help schools to enhance their sports provision and enable more children to have access to quality sports and competitive opportunities. The amount of funding is based on the number of pupils in the school plus a core amount.
Provision in School
At St Mary's C.E we try to ensure that teaching and learning opportunities in P.E are of high quality, meeting the needs of all the pupils. We provide a broad P.E curriculum throughout the school covering a wide range of sports such as: dance, gymnastics and physical literacy.
This extra investment will enable us to provide self-sustaining improvement in the quality of PE and School Sport that we provide for the children.
